Hello and welcome to my page. If you love all things inspired by nature, especially the coast, then you are in the right place! I love to explore neutral colour palettes with texture inspired by what I find and see around me in Cornwall and Devon.
My Story
Having completed a BA in Ceramics over 20 years ago, life circumstances meant I wasn’t able to continue pursuing my love of creativity at that time. After running my established health and beauty business for the past decade, I am finally in a position to reduce my hours and focus on what I love doing most. I am also qualified in permanent makeup, which has kept my drawing skills refined and my hand‑eye coordination sharp.
Although I had never painted before, I felt a strong calling to pick up a brush in October 2025, and I haven’t looked back since. Painting quickly became an essential part of my life, and the response to my early work encouraged me to keep going. When my first few pieces were accepted into The Canvas Gallery in Plymouth, it was a pivotal moment that confirmed I needed to continue producing work and developing my ideas.
This renewed creative path feels long overdue, and I am now committed to building a sustainable artistic practice and taking every opportunity to grow, exhibit and share my work.
My next exhibition "Four The Love of Art" will be with three other local artists at Sea View Barn, Otterton, near Exeter Aug 8th-16th.
